Handling and Packaging

Handling: Handling of your valuable just bought items is done by me personally, as all wrapping, protecting and packaging. My assistant is responsible of taking the finished, sealed packages to the Post Offices as to insure the maximum care is given.

Packaging: I use industrial strenght packaging materials, especially Pluriball™ (the bubble plastic wraps), high impact Tergopol™ pellets, 3M-brand adhesive tapes and UHU™ solid glues in the preparation of each pack.
The size, capacity and strength of each shipping box is selected from the huge Maranz catalog according to each item dimensions and weight. Maranz's boxes are one of the finest quality selection of boxes in corrugated and microcorrugated cardboard in the country.

Shipping Times, Methods and Restrictions

Shipping Time: Shipping is done on Tuesdays and Thursdays, usually the first of these two days recurring after your payment has cleared.

Shipping Methods: Available shipping methods are those provided by Correo Argentino, the official local Postal Service, and by private courrier companies as FedEx, UPS and DHL.

Shipping Restrictions: I can ship to the vast majority of Countries in the world. As a rule of thumb, if Correo Argentino arrives to your country, I will ship your order with no problems.
BUT:
As a personal choice, I will not ship to any Country outside the Americas, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan if a fluent email communication is not established before placing the order. No exceptions.
And I mean it.

Correo Argentino

Registered Air Mail Parcel: Delivered in between 10-14 working days to most locations around the world. Registration Number can be used to track the package local trip, and then to be notified of its arrival to destination. Signature required.

Expedited Air Mail Parcel: As above but with delivery times of around 7-10 working days, sometimes way less. Signature required.

Express Mail System (EMS): The fastest of Correo Argentino Services, with delivery times from 3 to 5 working days to m ost locations around the globe. Complete traceability of the packages is possible online from Correo Argentino's website or the EMS international page at the Union Postale Internationale website.

Other Courrier Companies

FedEx, UPS and DHL also available, with about 48-72 hs delivery times all around the world, but they are usually not as reliable as the options listed above, and are more expensive, costing twice and three times as much as the official equivalent services.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES

Shipping and Handling fees are FLAT (ie the same) to most countries in the world. The amount charged depends on dimensions and weight of the FINAL PACKAGE, as I am charged so at the Post Offices. I will always try my best to ensure the lowest fee possible is applied in each case. S&H fees include a small percentage of the declared value (3-5%) charged to me at the moment of dispatching the item as Export Taxes.

Any Customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. In poor words, You pay for your country's Customs duty fees if appliable when the item enters the borders of your country.
